His dam, Snowmass Heavens A Glow, has been an influential foundation female for the QE program, producing white to dark brown. She is a stunning daughter of Crystal Spartan’s King Leonidas, a Champion Stud who was purchased to be an outcross for the Snowmass program. Crossed with Snowmass Seven Below, an elite beige stud male who was considered the Skinners’ “secret weapon” for passing on uniformity of micron and fleece architecture. This combination of genetics produced a sensational foundation female.

His sire, Snowmass Everlasting Legend, is now owned by Ola & Marcin Grabara, Rotten Mud (Poland), making his genetics less available, available only through the Quechua Enterprise breeding program and the Ironhide/Red Granite programs. He is one of the finest, densest, most consistent fleeced studs to grace the Skinner breeding program. He carries not only fineness but extreme density and consistency of color. A Futurity Reserve Color Champion, his only defeat came at the hands of legendary Red Granites Val D’lsere, further underscoring the elite company he keeps.

Winchester continues to carry this legacy forward. His 2024 fiber samples averaged 15.9 microns (FiberLux), showing a high-frequency fleece style. His 2025 fiber samples averaged 21.0 microns (FiberLux), showcasing extreme density and softness to his staple as a maturing male. Robust in his frame, with strong bone coverage, he is a male who shows great promise.
